Here’s what I don’t always lead with:

I struggle with task avoidance. Badly.

Nothing triggers it faster than a project that feels big and poorly defined, with no obvious starting point. And even though email is literally my only marketing channel — even though I know what I want to write about — the task still felt huge every single time.

Because knowing your topic isn’t the same as knowing where to start.

And “write a weekly email” is about as poorly defined as a task gets.

So I started breaking it down. Not because I had some brilliant strategic insight, but because I needed it to work for my own brain. I needed a clear first step that didn’t require me to also figure out steps two through seven at the same time.

When I built that structure for myself, the avoidance got less powerful.

Then I noticed something: my clients were hitting the same wall. Not for the same reasons, necessarily. But nobody had ever taught them that “write an email” is actually five or six different tasks stacked on top of each other. And you can’t do all of them at once without your brain staging a revolt.

So this toolkit exists because I built it for myself first, saw it working for my clients second, and decided it deserved to be a real thing.
